Age Requirements
1. For Nursery: 3 yrs. & 7 mos. - 4 yrs. & 6 mos. by June
2. For Kinder 1: 4 yrs. & 7 mos. - 5 yrs. & 6 mos. by June
3. For Kinder 2: 5 yrs. & 7 mos. - 6 yrs. & 6 mos. by June

1. Photocopy of Authenticated Birth Certificate from NSO
2. Testing Fee of Php 150

General Requirements
The following requirements must be submitted:
1. Passing Result of the Entrance Exam
2. Photocopy of Authenticated Birth Certificate from NSO
3. Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate – (for Catholics)
4. Photocopy of Certificate of Dedication – (for Non-Catholics)
5. Report card – (for Kinder 1 and Kinder 2)
6. For foreigners, secure a Permit To Study from the Immigration Office and photocopies of pupil's visa and passport

All graduates of any Philippine high school duly approved and accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) may be admitted to Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan regardless of religion, ethnicity and gender. XU Admissions requirements may vary according to the college degree program it offers in different schools/colleges and the technical diploma program it offers in the Center for Industrial Technology(CIT).
Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan reserves the right not to accept an applicant whose qualifications do not match the basic requirements, criteria, and standards of the college-degree program, and/or technical-diploma program he/she is seeking admission.
Freshman Requirements
Freshmen are classified according to the course/program they are enrolling: those admitted to 4 or 5 year-college degree programs and those admitted to 3 (or less) technical-diploma programs. They must submit the following requirements:
1. Passing Result of XU Entrance Exam
2. High School Report Card or Form 138
3. Two(2) Clear Photocopies of Birth Certificate
4. Two(2) Recommendation Letters from Last School Attended – (one from HS Principal and one from Counselor or Adviser)
5. Medical Certificate
6. Dental Health Record
7. Six(6) Recent 1x1 Photos
8. Clear Photocopy of Marriage Contract – (for female married students)
Transfer Students Requirements
College students previously enrolled in other colleges or universities who seek admission to Xavier University in any college degree or technical diploma programs are required to submit the following requirements:
1. Passing Result of XU Entrance Exam
2. Transfer Credential from Last School Attended – (with an Informative Copy of TOR)
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character from an Official of Last School Attended
4. Two(2) Clear Photocopies of Birth Certificate
5. Two(2) Recommendation Letters from Last School Attended – (one from College Dean and one from Counselor or Instructor)
6. Medical Certificate
7. Dental Health Record
8. Six(6) Recent 1x1 Photos
9. Clear Photocopy of Marriage Contract – (for female married students)
Foreign Students Requirements
Graduates of high schools or students of colleges from other countries who desire to study at Xavier University must see (or write) first the Personnel-in-Charge for foreign nationals at the Registrar's Office of the University. They must then submit the following requirements:
1. Passing Result of XU Entrance Exam/NSAT Result
2. Student Visa – (kind of Visas accepted: (1) Permanent foreign residents (Immigrants) 9d, 9g, 47a, (2) Personnel of foreign diplomatic and consular missions, and (3) Personnel of duly accredited international organizations residing in the Philippines such as: Asian Development Bank, International Rice and Research Institute, and specialized agencies of the United Nations.)
3. Two(2) Photocopies of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
4. Two(2) Photocopies of Passport
5. Two(2) Clear Photocopies of Birth Certificate
6. If transferee, Transcript of Record – (in English Translation with original signature and seal of the school)
7. If freshman, he/she must have completed Grade 11 & 12. He/she must also submit the following requirements: (1) High School Report Card or Form 138 in English Translation, (2) One Photocopy of High School Diploma, (3) Medical Certificate, (4) Dental Health Record, and (5) Eight(8) Colored 1x1 Photos.

Application
The applicant-student must be a graduate of a bachelor’s degree and must have earned eighteen(18) units of English, six(6) units of Mathematics, and eighteen(18) units of Social Sciences.
Law Qualifying Test Requirements
1. Entrance Fee of Php 300 – (pay at the Testing Center, Room LH 112)
2. One(1) Recent 1x1 ID picture
3. 2 Pencils
4. Valid Transcript of Record
Examination Dates: Every Thursday of May at 7:15 AM
Venue: Testing Center, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan
Note: Please see the Dean’s Office for the result of the qualifying test which will only be available a week after the scheduled exam. To get a copy of the result, present a claim slip acquired from the Testing Center together with any ID. The percentile rank eligible for an oral interview is 60%.
Requirements after Passing the Qualifying Exam
1. Authenticated Copy of the Transcript of Record – (S.O. number and date of issuance should be indicated in the transcript of record, otherwise a certificate of S.O. from the Registrar should be obtained by the applicant)
2. Two(2) Academic Endorsement Letters – (acquired from any of the following: former professor, Dean, or Administrative Head at the school where college degree was obtained)
3. One(1) Personal Endorsement Letter – (acquired from either a person pre-eminent in any profession, or any person holding a responsible position in business, in church, or in the government. None of the evaluators should be a relative of the applicant.)
4. Three(3) Photocopies of Birth Certificate
5. Honorable Dismissal – (for transferees and graduates of Universities and Colleges other than Xavier University)
6. Recommendation Letter for the Director of Student Affairs from Last School Attended – (for transferees)
7. Certificate for Preliminary Law Course (C-1) – (for transferees)
8. Three(3) Photocopies of Marriage Contract – (for married women)
9. Two(2) Recent 2x2 ID pictures

Application
Students seeking admission to the medical school must be a holder of a bachelor's degree in science or arts (AB/BS) conferred by duly recognized educational institution. He/She must have earned credits in the following subjects which may either be within or in addition to the baccalaureate degree requirement: twelve(12) units of English/Filipino, six(6) units of Mathematics, three(3) units of Computer Literacy, six(6) units of Social Sciences, and eighteen(18) units of Natural Sciences which include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. He/She must have also taken the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT). The degree and/or the subjects must have been taken within five-year period prior to the filing of application.

Each applicant should submit to the Admissions Committee, personally or by mail, the following:
1. Application for Admission to the First Year Class (Php 200)
2. Valid Transcript of Record
Credential Requirements
The selection of students for admission is the responsibility of the Admissions Committee who shall evaluate with care and fairness the total qualifications of each applicant based on academic records, NMAT score, personal interview, and health care report. Also, each applicant is required to have a personal interview. Accepted applicant shall then report to the Office of the Dean of the College of Medicine, and submit the following requirements:
1. Photocopy of Transcript of Record
2. Special Order
3. Honorable Dismissal
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from Three(3) Officials of Last School Attended – (Dean, Guidance Counselor, and a Science teacher)
5. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
6. If married, Photocopy of Marriage Contract
7. Two(2) Recent 1x1 ID Pictures
8. Photocopy of College Diploma or Certificate of Graduation
9. Certificate of Eligibility for Admission
10. Medical Certificate – (from a specified physician)

Registration Schedule
Middle of May. Students are expected to enroll on their assigned dates. A fine of Php 150 will be imposed on registrants who register after their scheduled enrollment dates.

Start of Classes
First week of June. Students should bring their Admit-to-Class Card on the first day of class. No Admit-to-Class Card means no admittance to class.
